In June and July 2023, I was costume assistant on the 2nd year actors' first shows. They were two Shakespeare plays: ‘As you like it’ and ‘Comedy of Errors’. ‘As you Like it’ was set in modern day America, and ‘Comedy of Errors in the 1920s. One challenge I faced on both productions was the relatively small budget: I had only £200 for costumes on each production.  I learned how to use Vinted to maximise value for money, and I also learned how to multi-task and how to cope with working long hours.
